Our company was born in 2019 by Brenda, a hospitality and marketing student that has a strong drive for event styling, planning and making people feel happy. Fancy Picnics is the first and original luxury picnic company in Houston and we are committed to provide more than just an event, we will provide an unforgettable experience.

How does it work?
Very easy! once you have received your invoice, signed the contract and completed payment. We will send you a follow up e-mail the week of the event, confirming all the details and arrival time of our staff. Arrival time varies, it will be from 1 hour to 5 hours before your event’s starting time. Our arrival time will depend on the size of your picnic, distance, add on’s, etc. Once your picnic is over we will come back and pack up everything!
Your picnic experience at the park will last 2 hours and house deliveries 3 hours. Extra hours available to be added for an additional cost.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund bookings on the basis of bad weather so please check the forecast in advance. If you have already booked and later discover it is going to rain, we are more than happy to offer a complimentary reschedule in a time frame of 3 months, if you need a second reschedule and it is not due to weather conditions, there will be a fee of the 25% of the total of the initial cost of your picnic.

You are more than welcome to bring your own food! While alcohol is not permitted at parks, if your picnic is at your house, that is totally fine.

Our picnics can be setup anywhere around Houston if it’s a private location (e.g. your house or backyard) and if you want an outdoor location we work at different parks in the Houston area.

We recommend a 72 hour notice, however it always depends on availability so we recommend that you plan ahead so you can secure your desired date and time.

Our picnics do not come with food, unless you decide to add a charcuterie box, which is on our add on list.

Deposit are non-refundable. If you need to cancel please let us know 72 hours in advance.

We are currently just offering our full service picnic setup. This also means that if you wish to remove certain items, the price will stay the same.
